Intro to Aerospace gives students ages 12+ the opportunity to engage with aviation, aerospace, and space science through hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and mission-based challenges.

Students explore the principles that make flight and space exploration possible, including aerodynamics, propulsion, navigation, meteorology, systems thinking, human performance, and aviation safety. Through technical builds, simulations, team-based projects, and guided instruction, students begin thinking and working like young professionals.

This program also connects classroom learning to authentic aviation experiences, which may include powered aircraft, gliders, helicopters, iFLY, expert-led workshops, and career exploration. Along the way, students build confidence, communication, accountability, technical skills, and a stronger understanding of future pathways in aviation, engineering, space science, and STEM.
