Where We’ve Come From.
Where We’re Going.
Why It Matters.
ABOUT
Falcon FlightPath exists to inspire purpose, cultivate character, and equip the next generation to lead, innovate, and serve through hands-on aviation, aerospace, STEM, and career-connected learning.
Born from the legacy of Falcon AeroLab, Falcon FlightPath represents the next chapter in a mission that has always been about access, opportunity, and educational freedom.
We believe students learn best when they are given the chance to explore, build, fly, question, solve, and discover who they are through meaningful real-world experiences.
Guided By Purpose
Guided By Purpose
Where we came from
Falcon AeroLab began with a simple question:
What if students could access the same world-class aviation, aerospace, and STEM opportunities found within Colorado’s thriving aerospace industry, military community, and technical workforce?
Founder Mark Hyatt, a retired Air Force senior officer and educational leader, saw a growing need. Students were eager for hands-on learning. Families wanted meaningful educational opportunities that prepared students for life while preserving educational freedom. Industry leaders were looking for skilled, character-driven young people prepared to step into the future.
Access changes everything.
Falcon AeroLab was created to bridge that gap.
What began as a small group of students learning alongside volunteer pilots, mechanics, engineers, educators, and industry professionals has grown into a unique aviation, aerospace, and STEM learning community. More than 5,000 students have participated in Falcon AeroLab programs, discovering new passions, developing practical skills, and exploring future career pathways.
What We’ve Built
Falcon AeroLab has always been more than a STEM program.
It is a place where students learn by doing.
Students build, design, test, fly, problem-solve, collaborate, and explore alongside professionals serving in aviation, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, and technical fields.
Through aviation experiences, drone technology, engineering projects, STEM challenges, mentorship, leadership development, and character formation, students are encouraged to think deeply, work responsibly, and discover what they are capable of.
Our goal has never been simply to prepare students for a job.
Our goal is to help young people discover purpose.
The Next Chapter
Falcon FlightPath was created to carry this mission into its next season.
As we move forward, we are intentionally building an independent, donor-supported model that expands access while protecting educational freedom for families. This next chapter is not about growth for growth’s sake. It is about impact.
Falcon FlightPath allows students to continue exploring aviation, aerospace, STEM, skilled trades, leadership, and career pathways through hands-on programs designed for different ages and stages of development.
From young learners taking their first steps into discovery to older students preparing for advanced aviation and career-connected opportunities, Falcon FlightPath provides a runway for growth.

Why it Matters
America faces a growing need for pilots, engineers, mechanics, technicians, builders, innovators, and leaders.
The next generation will be asked to solve complex challenges in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, and national defense. Those future leaders are already among us. They simply need opportunities to discover their gifts and develop them.
Falcon FlightPath exists to provide those opportunities.
Through mentorship rooted in integrity and service, students learn from pilots, engineers, technicians, entrepreneurs, military leaders, and industry professionals who believe in investing in the next generation.
Students are shaped not only by what they learn, but by who they are becoming.
Looking Forward
The mission of Falcon FlightPath is not simply to teach aviation, aerospace, or STEM.
It is to inspire purpose, cultivate character, and equip the next generation to lead, innovate, and serve.
We are building a launchpad for students to discover their gifts, develop real-world skills, and pursue meaningful futures.
The next generation is ready.
Let’s help provide the runway.
